In this day and age, I am a bit of an oddity - I do not have my own cell phone. My husband has one for our business, and since I only drive about 1/2 mile to the office, I don't feel I need one for myself. My husband's cell was a bit of an antique by today's standards - it was 11 years old and the only feature it had was voicemail. Over the years our Verizon cell phone served us well, but recently it took a turn for the worse and needed to be replaced.
We were amazed at all the features cell phones now have; more compact, ability to take and store countless digital pictures and even shoot a 30 second video among other things. We were happy to see that it came with an ear piece so that you don't have to put the phone up to your ear, as we've been reading about the radiation danger from cell phones placed close to the head. And we're now in the course of choosing from the many free Verizon ringtones to customize our cell phone.

I love our new phone and all the features, and it's really nice to be able to snap a picture of our pets without getting out the digital camera, and I'm looking forward to trying a short video when they do something cute, so I can post it on my pet blog.
