Link between vaccines and Autism

You may have heard about a recent court case which ruled that Hannah Poling's autism was a result of underlying mitochondrial dysfunction which was aggravated by vaccine injections. The CDC claimed that it was a rare case, but a Portuguese study reported that 7.2% of children with autism had confirmed mitochondrial disorders, with some recently estimating the rate is more like 20%.

This makes a strong connection between vaccines and autism. This is close to my heart, as my niece was diagnosed with autism 20 years ago around age 2. Prior to getting vaccine injections, she would smile, laugh, and make eye contact. Shortly after receiving them, she seemed closed off, didn't look directly at anyone any longer, and didn't want to be touched.

The CDC is now looking into making changes in the vaccine schedule in an attempt to address the new information. It's also possible that children like Hannah Poling had no underlying disorder until being exposed to the onslaught of vaccinations. Many things can damage our mitochondria, such as:
* thimerosal (a mercury preservative)
* mercury
* aluminum (present in many vaccinations)
* pollution
* pesticides
* medicines
* prenatal alcohol exposure
The American diet is full of inflammatory foods like high-fructose corn syrup and refined grains which can make the mutated gene become more pathogenic.
